🎃 Halloween at the Carrboro Farmers’ Market

A festive market morning featuring a vendor costume contest and a fundraiser for the Double Bucks program.

The Carrboro Farmers’ Market will say goodbye to Main Season Hours in spooky style with its annual Vendor Halloween Costume Contest on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 7 a.m. to noon! Vendors, staff and volunteers will be dressed in costume, and shoppers and their families are encouraged to join the fun by dressing up, too. The market will also kick off its fall fundraiser for Double Bucks, its food access program, with $1 voting tickets for shoppers to choose their favorite vendor costume. All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Double Bucks. Here’s how to vote for a favorite vendor costume: Stop by the Information Tent to purchase $1 voting tickets. All proceeds support Double Bucks. Cast votes by placing tickets in the jack-o’-lantern buckets at vendor stalls throughout the market. Watch for the announcement of the winners online! Join the Carrboro Farmers’ Market for a festive Halloween morning while supporting local vendors and helping expand food access in the community.
