A guided 2.5-mile nature hike exploring the history, ecology, and hidden features of Johnston Mill Nature Preserve.
Join TLC to discover what may be hidden in plain sight along the trails at Johnston Mill Nature Preserve. We will look for signs and clues to what lies beneath our feet and above our heads, hidden habitats, old roads, secrets of trees and insects, and clues to the history of the land. This is a moderate 2.5 mile hike over varied terrain so please wear comfortable walking shoes. Hiking poles, binoculars and all levels of knowledge are welcome as we learn and explore together. This is a free event, but preregistration is required .
