First Friday Face Off
A live, two-hour art competition where local artists create original works in a high-energy, community-focused setting.
Experience live art in real time at First Friday Face-Off, a monthly creative showdown featuring Spokane’s local artists. Artists will create original work during a two-hour event filled with music, energy, and community vibes in the Parkade Plaza Building. Each month, one artist is selected as the winner and their artwork becomes the official poster for the following First Friday—seen across downtown and online. Join the Competition Apply to the First Friday Face Off! Compete in a live, two-hour art competition during First Friday in downtown Spokane. Selected artists receive a $100 stipend, promotional exposure, and the opportunity to have their artwork featured as the following month’s official First Friday poster. Monthly winners also advance to the Brushes & Boughs Year-End Championship for a chance to be named First Friday Artist of the Year.
