Japanese Games with Mukogawa Students

A casual lunch event to play traditional Japanese games and practice language skills with visiting students.

Event Name: Japanese Games with Mukogawa Students Event Locator: 2026-ABBPLC Organization: SFCC Comm Modern Languages Drama Organizer: Harumi.Norasakkunkit@sfcc.spokane.edu Japanese Games with Mukogawa Students We will be hosting 13 Mukogawa (Japanese) students to play traditional Japanese games. Games will include: kendama (cup-and-ball toy), daruma otoshi (stacking game), fukuwarai (face-making game), as well as other pair and group activities such as Pictionary and musical chairs with Japanese music. If you would like to participate, please email the event organizer at harumi.norasakkunkit@sfcc.spokane.edu . This is a casual bring-your-own-lunch event. If you would like to share food, you are welcome to do so. Plates, cups, and utensils will be provided. Japanese language skills are not required; however, if you are enthusiastic about learning the language, you are welcome to practice with the Mukogawa students.
