Meanwhile Brewing Co. will celebrate the city’s independent literary community at its fifth annual Lagers & Literature event on Sunday, Sept. 6. The expansive beer garden will transform into Austin’s largest independent book fair, featuring award-winning authors, local bookstores, publishers, artists, literary organizations and more. This family-friendly event brings together award-winning authors, local booksellers, artists, nonprofits and an exclusive charitable beer release. Lagers & Literature also marks the culmination of Meanwhile Brewing’s summer-long community book drive. In addition to browsing books and meeting authors, attendees can enjoy live screen printing, flash tattoos, zine-making, button-making, and more crafts.
