A multi-day hot air balloon festival featuring morning launches, evening glows, and family activities.
Schedule of Events: Wednesday 9/2/26 – Kid’s Day 7:00 a.m. | Balloons are on the launch field for Day 1 of the Balloon Classic 7:40 a.m. | Kid’s Day – Ann Morrison Park Balloons will be inflated on the field to give your kids an opportunity to learn about how they work and have the opportunity to take a free tethered ride! Thursday 9/3/26 – Media Day 6:45 a.m. | Balloons are at the Park 7:20 a.m. | MORNING FLIGHT/”Media Day” First hot air balloon launch of the event. Media partners will be taking flight. Friday 9/4/26 V.I.P. Day and Nite Glow Spectacular 6:45 a.m. | Pilots will be arriving in the Park 7:20 a.m. | MORNING FLIGHT / Ann Morrison Park 4:00 p.m. | The Inflatable Fun Zone (see home page for details) 5:00 p.m. | Nite Glow Activities Begin: Food, Vendors, and Live Music 8:45 p.m. | Nite Glow Spectacular Second launch of the event, sponsors will be taking flight in the morning. The evening Nite Glow festivities take place in the evening. The Inflatable Fun Zone! NEW THIS YEAR! We are introducing the Inflatable Fun Zone at the Friday Nite Glow, September 4th, located by the soccer fields at Ann Morrison Park. The Inflatable Fun Zone will feature over 15 different attractions, including inflatable slides, obstacle courses, interactive games, trampolines, zip lines, a mechanical bull, and much, MUCH more! This area is suitable for children and adults. Tickets required. Saturday 9/5/26 Launch Day 6:45 a.m. | Balloons will be arriving in the park 7:20 a.m. | MORNING FLIGHT / Ann Morrison Park Join us for the third launch of the event. Sunday 9/6/26 Last Launch Day 5:15 a.m. | Last launch day of the 35th Annual Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic 6:00 a.m. | Dawn Patrol / Inflation 7:20 a.m. | MORNING FLIGHT – WEATHER PERMITTING / Ann Morrison Park The final balloon launch of the event! Dawn patrol will consist of multiple balloons taking flight before dawn. ALL FLIGHTS ARE WEATHER DEPENDENT
