A three-part workshop series where teens learn from local food entrepreneurs, watch cooking demos, and prepare dishes together.

· For 6th-12th graders Teen Room Registration is required This program is in English   Calling all foodies! If you like eating food, like making food, dream about one day being a chef, or any combination of these things, please join us for our teen food workshop series. In this three-part series, we will learn from different food entrepreneurs from our community about how and why they got into business, watch as they demo a popular menu item, and then have hands-on time to prepare something to enjoy together.   Please note that food allergens will be present, and we will be unable to accommodate dietary restrictions. In this program, teens will connect with community members, share in the cuisines of diverse cultures, engage in entrepreneurial thinking, and learn tangible life skills.   This is a 3-Part Series. Register for them all: Part 1: Tuesday, Sept. 22, 6-7 pm (Opens Sept. 1) Part 2: Tuesday, Oct. 27, 6-7 pm (Opens Oct. 1 Part 3: Tuesday, Nov. 24,6-7 pm (Opens Nov. 1)   This program is generously supported by the Friends of the Longmont Library.   Add to calendar Google Calendar iCalendar Outlook 365 Outlook Live Register Registration opens Oct. 1.
