Hands-on science program for elementary students featuring brain anatomy, dissection demos, and neuron crafting.

· For 1st-5th graders Library Meeting Rooms No registration required This program is presented in English   Join us for a special science program with the University of Colorado’s Behavioral Neuroscience department. Participants will learn about the brain and the major structures of the brain, including a demo of a brain dissection! Participants will also learn about neurons and get to make neurons out of pipe cleaners. This is a great opportunity to learn new scientific concepts, do hands-on experiments, and ask some science questions! The program is for 1st–5th-grade students, and caregivers should stay to provide help and supervision. This program is generously supported by the Friends of the Longmont Library.
