A guided tour of the NC State compost facility to learn about campus waste management and energy savings.
Explore how NC State closes the loop on campus waste while saving energy through composting at the NC State Compost Facility and Research Cooperative. This is an outdoor tour at a working compost site, so closed-toe shoes are required. The Compost Facility is located at 4231 Inwood Road, off of Lake Wheeler Road.
